It’s the day of the vote yall.

It’s that time of year when YOU get to force your beliefs and opinions on everyone around you by silently voting anomalously in a closed booth. Oh the POWER! I finally feel like someone is listening to me! Actually, it feels a little more like shouting in a room full of shouters and whichever contestant gets the loudest shouts wins. Somehow my shout doesn’t seem to count for much. Oh well. I still have to show up or I don’t get bitching privileges later, right? Isn’t that how it works?

On a far more important topic, what should I make for dinner tonight?

*The voices in my head won’t stop screaming.*

The shouting match thing is what the Rally for Sanity was cautioning against. Too much shouting, not enough reasonable discourse. *sigh*
Oh, well. As a fairly private person (esp. as it pertains to politics) I prefer taking 90 minutes at my own little table to mark my ballot and then mail it off into obscurity.
Did that last week, so I've already earned my bitching privileges. ;)

I'm making a nice chicken and rice dish, with red beans. su

In my neighborhood it is also a chance to see all the elderly folks... the regular volunteers there! :)

kcinnova- After my experience last night I'm going to seriously consider mailing in next time.

MickyT- ewww

Katherine- The elderly people at my station were insanly slow because they couldn't see. It was a painful process.

Mike- I wonder where I could find a White Castle around here. Maybe I'm better off not getting the stomach cramps though.

Doc- You feel it?
