The Tree

I finally got all of my decorations up this year. It took awhile but I feel much better now that it's done. Of course I wanted to share all my hard work and holiday cheer with with you. So here it is...........
Yup, that's pretty much it. I broke out those sharpies and a long three minutes later it was time to spike the eggnog. Here is a photo to give a better perspective of how the tree lights up the apartment.

Beautiful. I can't help it. The holiday spirit picks me up and carries me away. For three minutes.

That's a sharp looking tree alright. Is it scented?

I once put a paper tree up on the wall. Accounting for the size of the place I was renting vs. your tiny apartment, I'd say the only difference is that my tree was green.

(Also, I have many days where that is about how I feel.)

I have a tree. It's in my backyard. It's actually a mulberry bush. It's huge. I heard mulberries are good eating, this thing produces in spades. I'm gonna try some next year.

Oh, christmas. right.

I'm a jew ;)

GMEyster- Holiday Nog? We should have some together this year.

Knot- Under it! Where are you putting your Festivus pole? What in the hell is a Festivus pole?

Matt-Man- I know that you do ;) Just you wait.

Gary- Why thank you. Everyone deserves a drink after a hard days work.

Micky-T- Why yes. I sniffed it quite a bit and it made me feel very jolly.

kcinnova- I once had a white tissue paper tree when I lived with my roommate. We put white lights behind it so it looked snowy. Then we cut black and white pictures of ourselves into circles and pasted them on as ornaments. It was pretty modern and cool actually.

Jay- Thank you. I honestly think it looks like crap because I don't stencel and you can't erase sharpie but I'm too lazy to start over.

Paige- Thank you. Bwah ha ha ha. I'm going to use an evil laugh every time I say thank you today. That should be suspicious.

Mike- Jesus, who ISN'T a Jew? That wasn't an appropriate response at all. What did you expect though? I have never tried Mulberry and I am forced to wonder if that is because they are gross. Please let me know once you try it out. L'chaim!

A little glow in the dark ink? Or puffy paint or sumthin'? Would totally make that tree kickin' it in the dark.

Especially, with spiked egg nog! ;-)
