I stumbled upon this beautiful short film today and thought it was something that had to be shared.
At first glance of the title I couldn't help but think what a dumb question it was. People that lead full, rich lives shouldn't have just one favorite person so hopefully you and the people you know wouldn't have reason to say yes. Then you watch the film and realize in a few words they say so much more. I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did.

Lately I feel like you're just writing this blog for me. What happened to everyone? So many people have stopped blogging and stopped reading. Hmmmmm. A blog revolt?
Love this. I LOVE JCR. I wanna sop him up with a biscuit. I love the middle guy's answer, too. And you think he's alone...and then he says 'girlfriend' and I just felt...empty for him, that he answered so quickly, in the negative. And that, right after the woman was so happy, talking about being her EX'S favorite. Seems so messed up.
Thanks for posting that. Love it.
I suppose I do write it somewhat for you Gwen but mostly I'm just writing for me. Hmm.. that sounds selfish when you write it down. I think it's a blog lull. People are busy with other things. I'm still reading though!
I heart JCR as well. He is why I watched it. It's funny how you viewed the responses though because I felt the complete opposite. The guy that answered no didn't seem to care. He had a girlfriend that he obviously cares about and he seems happy while the girl that said yes seemed unsure of herself and thrown by such a question. She didn't want to leave while the other guy was simply pleased by an orange and happily went on his way. I just loved it.
I re-read what I wrote. That sounded silly - about you writing for me. I withdraw it. I absolutely know you are writing it for yourself. And it's grand.
That is interesting, the different things we saw in the same few minutes of film. Oooh, I love the creative arts.
i keep coming here and wanting to watch this damn video but my work computer doesn't have speakers and then i'm too pooped when i get home to turn my own computer on! gah!!!!!!
finally got to watch this and i loved it. i agree w/ you carly; i think it's better to be the second guy; the guy who is secure in his life and love but knows he's not anyone's FAVORITE.
i don't think i'm anyone's favorite, and that's sort of great for all my friends. we all have great friends with no one taking center stage. what wonderful support systems.
