The News

I've been busy lately. One of the things that occurred was that I reported someone to a news station and this happened:

This clip cuts off the story early. I was actually on the news and if I find a better version I will post it but for now if you want the whole story you can view it on the news website here.

UPDATE: Gary found the link for me. GO HERE TO WATCH.

I'm lost! the video from Youtube isn't available anymore - Fox is so greedy

and - when I went to Fox my head exploded just from being there

I'll try again I regain my head

whatever you did I'm sure it was wonderful - that's just the way you roll

Whoa, that went down fast. You can find the story at the link I listed if you scroll through recent news and select the one about cookies. I'm being vague because I don't want just any random people to track it back to me.

OMG!!!! I just have to say, what an idiot. I understand he likes to make silly stuff like the geese and all.

But, this was just brainless. *sigh* Brainless. And, he didn't even get it.

You on the other hand, are made for the silver screen!

;-)

How totally disrespectful and racist! I do hope the secret service checks him out. No telling whom his friends are!
Yes, you make a great interviewee!
Well done!

Holy stupid bakers Batman!

That guy is not exactly paying attention to the mood of the people, is he? haha

What a moron. He obviously knew he was toast when he was talking to that reporter dude, but couldn't find a way out of it. People do stupid things sometimes.

I just can't figure out why he thought that name would be okay with people.

Hmmmm ...

I don't like it and I wouldn't buy from his bakery, but is it racism?

That is All Kinds of Wrong!! Oh, Knight, you were so right to call the news on him!
Granted, he has a right to be stupid and everyone else has a right to not shop there and even picket his bakery.
He is obviously tasteless in his "humor" -- dead geese bread after the plane went down on the Hudson? Gross. I certainly wouldn't buy any.

You did the right thing there girl! This guy is a jerk and I hope he loses a lot of business. Unfortunately, it will blow over in a day or two and his clientèle will be back as before.

You did a great job on the interview too ;)

If they had been made out of white chocolate with white sprinkles and called "Drunken Kracker Cookies" would there have been as much outrage?

As much as we don't like it he has the right to call the cookie what he wants. It's freedom of speech. And as detestable as it is I want him to have that right. The minute we limit what can be said or produced in the form of cooking or "art" we will deteriorate even further.

We never say a word about the book "Uncle Tom's Cabin". If that book came out now with that title, it would be scandalous.

This guy's business will suffer and I'm surprised he didn't think it through and call them something else, like "Drunk Face Cookies". I'm surprised the enlightened world of NYC has a racist. Isn't NYC the epidomy of culture and equality?

Notice the story didn't break in Selma, Alabama.

There are a lot of people that stick up for this guy because they don't know the whole story but I assure you this is racism. The guy has the right to say and sell whatever the hell he wants and I have the right to let him know he should be ashamed. It wasn't just the one product. It's his disgusting behavior in general. We didn't try to have him arrested. We just wanted everyone to know what kind of a person he is. It's all free speech. If you don't stand up against racism then you are letting it happen and doesn't that make you part of the problem?

Thanks TLJ but I had to delete your comment because I don't want people trying to google that phrase finding my site.

That's funny- you don't really strike me as a Fox news kind of girl!

I am in awe that you infiltrated the evil Fox and used it as a conduit for good.

His cakes were used on 'Sex and the City.'

More evidence that everything related to Sex and the City sucks.

Except Kim Cattrail in her prime, but I don't think that counts.

Going to the Fox 5 page brought back memories. I used to watch Good Day NY before going to work (some 20 years ago) Gordon Elliot was a street reporter (he is now a producer for Food Network, and does Paula Dean's show) Tim something and an African American woman were the anchors.

Anyway you did a fine job, and that dude is an ass.

I also like the new masthead. :)
