Don't worry. I'm fine.

My post yesterday was just a little bit creepy so I thought I should start off today by saying, I'm doing really well. I guess the third time is the charm because so far I am emotionally doing great. I'm still sore all over and have a constant headache but all those annoyances come from crap like working, going to the gym, and supposed healthy stuff as well. So in the long run, as long as I can sleep at night and don't feel like I live in a bubble I'm actually doing better! I still don't know for sure what is causing the seizures but I can make pretty good guesses and try some lifestyle changes. I will see the neurologist in a couple of weeks but that is probably just to make sure I don't have brain damage. Just to be safe though, if any of you notice any scary changes in my blog like bright colors, lol cats, nascar conversations, or affection for children, please inform the Tall Lanky Jew right away. He can have me sent off to the loony bin for repair.

In other news, I got an AWARD from the hilarious, intelligent, beautiful, and supremely RAD Dianne over at Forks Off The Moment. THANKS DIANNE!

"The award is given to recipients whose blogs exhibit creativity, design and interesting material and also for contributing to the blogging community."

Then there were a whole bunch of rules I was supposed to follow but who has time to read rules?

Since Dianne is the absolute best she already received this award twice so she decided to break her awards up into two categories. This is the category I was in:

"The first category is young women I’d love to adopt. Smart, sassy, sexy, savvy women who I would be so proud to mother to death – in a healthy, non-obtrusive manner of course."

Adopt me! Adopt me! I don't mind if you mother me to death. I would love it. Be as obtrusive as you want Dianne! I agree with everything you say anyway.

I wish I could give this award right back to her but I won't because that would be obnoxious.

Go visit Dianne. You know you want to.

Glad you are doing okay with all of that medical stuff. Haven't been by Diane's in a few...I'll have to pop back over there.

It's just been so hard lately to keep up with all my bloggies.

FYI? You look completely different with your hair straight. But, again, you look fabulous!

Happy Tuesday Gal!

Some freakin' mother I am!!

I didn't get around much yesterday and now I'm worried. My head is saying things like "you think you should see a Dr., a specialist even." - or - "It's the air in NY, it should only kill us all quickly"

Do you have any idea how impossible it is to type out "Jewish Mother"

Take care of yourself sweetie.

Glad you're feeling so good! And congrats on the award! You're not going to end up in a straightjacket, but if you did we'd come break you out.

I didn't think it was creepy, just honest, but it's nice to know that you are doing well. So am I even though all my bitching may not make it seem that way.

No shit.... Never much been into rules other than mine anyway.

"The first category is young women I’d love to adopt. Smart, sassy, sexy, savvy women who I would be so proud to mother to death – in a healthy, non-obtrusive manner of course."

Yeah, right, who else would you like to control?

Anyway, have a great day. If you wasn't 25 I would love to brush your hair but you would think I'm a pervert for saying that.

Oh, wait, I am, with the right women. LOL

Farmer*swife- Sometimes it's really hard to remember to get to everyone's blog. Do you have a reader set up? Mine tells me when people have posted something new so I don't have to constantly check in. Can't live without it now. --- The new picture is actually from a couple years ago. My hair is pretty much always straight.

Cinder-Single- Thanks Sis! I'm still waiting for you to spill the Samby story.

Dana- Thank you!

Jay- That line just rolled right out. I guess seizures bring out the sarcasm.

Dianne- The air in NY might kill us all quickly. That isn't the worst way to go though. Ha... Jewish Mother... nice! I have been seeing a specialist for over a year. He is a little old sprightly man that I adore. I think you would like him. If you ever need a neurologist go to him.

Jo- I know I can count on you to rescue me from a straitjacket. You are the bionic woman!

BBC- I am glad you are doing well. I know you are not fond of having rules either. - I don't think Dianne is trying to control anyone. She wants to protect people. Plus she is hilarious. I think you would like her. - So you have a hair fetish? Lots of women like to have their hair brushed.

Minijonb- I wouldn't even know how to start a Nascar conversation. I don't know much about that er...stuff.

Furiousball- Thanks. I used to believe Vodka could cure everything but I'm starting to wonder if it isn't the cause in this case.

GMEyster- It's July? Where have all the brunches gone?

Knight, your request is up on my blog.

Go check it out, you freak :P

You should probably convince your employer to move you to a tropical island while you eat local food and relax...just to see if it's environmental that is causing your seizures. In fact, I might try that one myself...

glad you're going to a doctor and I agree: people who like children must be c-r-a-z-y

GMEyster said...

I agree. It's time for a brunch. Why don't you pick a date?

Hi Knight,
I came by via Jay's blog when I saw you were a fellow New Yorker. Everyone I have met so far is from the Big City. I always have hope that someone will be closer to my area of New York, which is South of Buffalo.

I read your post about the seizure and I hope that you will be okay and the Specialist will figure out a way to control them and keep them from happening in the future. It sounds like you really suffer some awful after effects from them. Take Care and have a Happy 4th Of July Weekend! :-)

Blessings,
Kimmie

Omg, I always wanna mother you to death to.. but that's just because I have a complex about saving the world or something, and has nothing to do with you needing mothering. Doodle experiences this odd trait of mine too.
